Write for Masterpiece Journal

As the official publication of Life Masterpiece Workshop, Masterpiece Journal adheres to a specific editorial mission to serve the entire workshop community by presenting authoritative content focused on knowledge growth, and skill development for improving our personal, family and professional lives.

• All articles flow through an editorial review before release.
• All articles follow a standard presentation format.

You may submit articles for publication directly from the Masterpiece Articles tab located in your personal Workspace.

Quality Craftsmanship

We ask that members submitting an article on a particular topic for publication, have demonstrated training and experience in the subject matter.

Consider adding your relevant experience to your Workshop Profile, links to your work, and your Linkedin profile for example, for others to learn more about you when reading your article.

Masterpiece Journal editors may also refer to your profile experience as well before publishing. This insures we offer the Workshop community the highest quality content, produced by skilled practitioners.

If you wish to publish articles on other topics of interest, we encourage you to use the ‘My Blog’ feature in your personal Workspace. ‘My Blog’ articles are also featured in various places around the Workshop.

Publishing Guidelines for Masterpiece Journal

1. All submissions must be spelling and grammar-checked
2. Please do not submit word for word content from another source as your own. Always cite the original author/creator.
3. Please allow up to 48 hours for your article to be reviewed and published. You will receive an email notification.
4. You must:
   • Set a featured image for each article.
   • Use a title heading.
   • Include a brief excerpt (preview copy) for display on the Masterpiece Journal index page.
   • Select one Journal Section to your associate article with (e.g.) Family & Personal Finance.
5. We publish in a wide range of personal and professional development topics, but exclude anything relating to graphic sex, pornography, erotica, violence, and political or divisive content.
6. We encourage all writers to develop their skills. Consider how your content comes across. How valuable is it for the audience and is the purpose, message, or audience experience clear?

Please Note: If you’ve been writing for publications other than your own blog, you know from experience not every article is accepted every time.

• If your article is accepted, you should not republish (duplicate) it in your personal ‘My Blog’, as it is already visible to everyone in the Workshop.
• If your article is not accepted after review, you will receive an email notification that your article has been returned to your Masterpiece Articles DRAFTS folder.
  • You may edit and resubmit the revised article if you wish.
  • Cut & paste then publish the article in your personal ‘My Blog’ to share with visitors and connections.
